| From June 22 to July
1, 2001, approximately 5,000 athletes from 75 countries
around the world took part in a total of 11 sports
genres and 64 events at the 2nd World Air Games
held in the Andalucia region of Spain.
As the official sponsor of the event, LG Electronics
was able to put the LG brand in printings for
official ceremonies, uniforms and banners.
LG products were also displayed
at event venues and hotels, attracting keen interest
and promoting the LG brand to visitors of WAG
2001.
